Today was clear with sunshine, but it was very cold for us Floridians, much colder than yesterday. We spent time together on the slopes and inside the lodge playing games. I even saw my chess set being used! We left the resort a little early and visited North Carolina's Grandfather Mountain. It was closed for the day, but we had fun playing in the snow and sledding down an icy hill. Worship tonight was really cool, and I think the students were challenged by the amount of Scripture that was read in the service, three whole chapters. Jesus' sermon on the mount was read in its entirety (Matt. 5-7). The students saw how practical Jesus' words are for everyday life, and they were taught about the change that occurs deep within one's soul when they become a Christian.
Tomorrow we leave bright and early for the long haul home. I think everyone is sad to see the trip coming to a close, especially me. See you back in Inverness.
